Two unique forms of social entrepreneurship came together when John and Maggie Anderson, creators of the Empowerment Experiment, a year long quest to only purchase, goods, services, and products from Black owned businesses and professionals, linked up with Stephen Satterfield, founder of the International Society of Africans in Wine.
Like the Andersons, Satterfield is on an awareness campaign highlighting the disparity amongst native South Africans when it comes to their involvement in the nations billion dollar wine industry.
