Black Voices on Prop 8

Remember how frustrating it was during the Presidential campaigning to hear people and their opinions frequently reduced to demographic numbers?
Black Voices on Prop 8 is a documentary series that presents the many varied opinions of African Americans on same-sex marriage and shows just how wrong polls can be.
This project is my response to the wide spread media coverage of faulty poll results that led to African Americans being widely blamed for backing a successful ballot measure to overturn the California Supreme Court's decision allowing same-sex marriage. For months it appeared African Americans were overwhelmingly in agreement with right-wing conservatives that marriage is not a civil right for everyone until Loyola's Levy Center for the Study of Los Angeles did a far more extensive poll and found the number of African American supporters of Prop 8 was significantly lower – 57%.

I can't stand how so many
I can't stand how so many politicians get in trouble with their marriages by cheating on their wives and these are the people voting on if gays can get married? Who the hell are they to decide when they are the ones who need marital help they really need to get their priorities straight.
